PARENT MEETING Thursday, May 21 at 6pm
Scotland Trip Parent Form
As a result of your hard work, talent, and dedication, the Tosa East Players have been selected to perform in the American High School Theatre Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland in August of 2016!!!!
Our school was chosen for this prestigious honor after a rigorous selection process involving a review by the AHSTF Board of Advisors, a group of renowned college theatre professionals.
Selections for this honor are based on the Players' recent work, community involvement, director's philosophy, and recommendations from professionals in the theatre community.
With over 2,000 international professional performing companies, the Fringe is the largest arts festival in the world. In 1994, a group of high school and college drama professionals recognized the need for an international forum where top high school performing arts students can showcase their skills- and this year, we were selected as one of the top high school performance troupes in the nation!!
There will be a parent meeting for all interested parties on Thursday, May 21 at 6pm in the Dale K Hidde theatre. All students involved in the Tosa East Players are eligible to attend this once-in-a-lifetime trip.
With that said, the AHSTF deadline for acceptance of this honor is May 28th of this year. I need to have confirmation of attendance and a refundable down payment by May 28th. As such, we ask that you fill out the attached google doc to confirm whether or not you will be attending the parent meeting.
